The Phoenix Chronicles:The Arrancar Rebellion Ch.7

Yuuki woke up the next day to the bright moonlight radiating from her window. She changed into her outfit and poured herself a cup of green tea. She always did that to help her wake up in the morning. The tea was supplying Yuuki with energy to take on the day. She looked up to the sky and gazed at the crescent moon. Memories of her friends began to flood her mind. Small tears began to form, but she quickly wiped them away when she heard someone come in the room. Yuuki turned her head to the Espada from the other day walking towards her. He still had the same blank expression on his face, but his green eyes showed signs of once vibrant life in the moonlight.

“What is it, nyadesuka~?”

“Superior, don’t you remember that Aizen-sama wanted you to come to the meeting today?”

“What meeting, nyadesuka~?”

“The meeting regarding the Shinigami’s invasion of Las Noches.”

Yuuki froze up when she heard of her friends plans to invade Las Noches.

They’re probably here to rescue Orihime. Depending on who it is, they wouldn’t know that I’m here.

“Ah! I completely forgot, nyadesu~!”

Yuuki bolted out the door trying to find her way to the meeting room. However…

“Uh…Where’s the meeting room again, nyadesuka~?”

She looked up to see that the pale Espada was already walking away from her.

“Hey, wait up, nyadesu~!”

Yuuki burst through the double doors with the Espada following right behind her. Everyone glared at the young commander as she made her way to Aizen. He gave her a strong glare as she tried to catch her breath.

“Ulquiorra, Yuuki, why are you two so late?”

“I’m sorry, Aizen-san, nyadesu~. It slipped my mind, nyadesu~.”

She bowed at a very low angle as a sign of respect and apology. Her face however, looked at Aizen’s reflection on the floor with disgust. Aizen’s strong glare changed to a light smile.
“It’s alright. The important thing is that you’re here. Would you like some tea?”

“Oh, no thank you, nyadesu~. I’ve already had my share, nyadesu~,” Yuuki responded as she picked herself up.

She switched places with the former captain of the 9th division who was near the entrance to the room. His black hair was in dreadlocks and a clear visor covered his blind eyes. He walked up a flight of stairs to turn on a projector which presented three figures running through the desert of Hueco Mundo. The three figures caught Yuuki’s attention since they looked very familiar to her. The entire scenario seemed familiar to her; it reminded her of her dream the night she was kidnapped.

“As you all know, we have had numerous attacks against us, but 3 in particular have been a nuisance: Chad Yasutora, Uryuu Ishida, and Ichigo Kurosaki,” Aizen explained as the slideshow was playing.

Grimmjow nearly jumped out of his seat when he heard Ichigo’s name. He immediately got out of his seat and walked to the entrance. The blind Captain used Shunpo to stop Grimmjow in his tracks.
“Where are you going, Grimmjow?”

“I’m going to kill them,” Grimmjow responded firmly.

“Aizen-sama, hasn’t given such an order. Please return to your seat.”

“I’m going to kill them for your precious Aizen-sama!”

The whole room was silent and no one said a word.
“Grimmjow,” Aizen spoke.

“Yes?”

“I appreciate your intentions, but can you please return to your seat?”

Silence.

“Well?”

Silence.

“I didn’t hear your response, Grimmjow Jacquerez.”

Aizen’s strong reiatsu shook the whole room as if there was an earthquake. Grimmjow was pinned to the ground and was panting heavily. Yuuki was overwhelmed by his reiatsu as if it had torn her fragile body like tearing paper.

“Good. It seems you understand,” Aizen said without looking at the weakened Espada, “Members of the Espada, as you can see, we have 3 enemies. Don’t underestimate them, but don’t make a commotion either. Everyone return to your rooms and act as if everything were normal. All of you are dismissed.”

Everyone left, but Aizen had invited Yuuki to stay awhile longer.

“Yuuki, I want you to talk to Grimmjow for me.”

“Why, nyadesuka~?”

“Everyone needs a little discipline once and a while.”

She wasn’t able to come up with a response, so she proceeded to Grimmjow’s room. Yuuki made her way to the room while angrily mumbling to herself.

“Stupid Aizen. He has no right to order me around like a kid. Although, it is nice to be a high position of authority. How can I use that?”

She stopped talking after realizing that she was intercepted by a tall figure. Yuuki looked up to see an Espada with a strange spoon-shaped coat glaring at her. They both glared at each other before Yuuki asked why he was here. The tall Arrancar responded with a kick to Yuuki’s stomach that sent her flying into the meeting room. She was wedged into the wall and her nerves were in pain. She had no strength to lodge herself out and collapsed onto the navy marble floor. She tried to pick herself up, but she was quickly lifted into the air up to the Espada’s face by her bright blue hair; Yuuki was slammed into the wall.

“Tch! Pathetic. To think that Aizen would make a weak, small child the head of the Espada. Why are you here?”

It’s none of your business! Yuuki thought for she was too weak to speak.
She began to release a set of invisible tentacle-like objects from her back. They wrapped around the Espada and began to strangle him. Yuuki lightly dropped to the ground and gave him an evil look. The invisible limb was choking him to death until Yuuki’s grip became undone. Her wounds were too great and she fell to the floor; she also passed out. The spoon Arrancar was still trying to catch his breath and figure out what just happened. He quickly got up and walked out of the room acting as if nothing ever happened.
